Evacuation Sites（避難所）
Evacuation sites are facilities established by local governments to which you can evacuate in the case of a natural disaster. You can stay at these facilities. In Higashihiroshima City, elementary and junior high schools and community centers etc. in the city are designated as evacuation sites. You should confirm in advance the location of nearby evacuation sites, and decide the route you will take to get to them.
In the event of a natural disaster, many people congregate at evacuation sites. Be considerate of others, and respect the rules of the evacuation site.
Preparation of Items to Take With You in an Emergency（非常持ち出し品の準備）
Evacuation sites may not always have enough water, food, medicines or blankets. In case of evacuation, prepare daily necessities such as food and water, and ensure that you are able to take your supplies out of your accommodation with you at short notice.
