If You Have Lost Your Passport （パスポートの紛失）

Submit a Notification of Lost Property (遺失届)(いしつとどけ)
at a Police Station.
Make a note of the receipt number of the Notification of Lost Property.
Contact the embassy or consulate of your country in Japan, and apply for reissuance.

If You Have Lost Your Residence Card（在留カードの紛失）

You should complete the formalities within 14 days of realizing that you have lost the card.

Submit a Notification of Lost Property at a Police Station.
Make a note of the receipt number of the Notification of Lost Property.
Complete the formalities for reissuance at the Hiroshima Immigration Services Agency.

Please take your passport with you.
