Your water meter is read in even-numbered months, and you are billed for the amount of water you have used over a two-month period.
Bills for Sewage Charges（下水道使用料請求）
As a rule, you are billed based on the amount of water you have used.
How to Pay Water Bills（水道料金の支払い方法）
There are two ways to pay water bills, as shown below. As a rule, you cannot have a member of staff of the Waterworks Department come to your accommodation to collect the money.
◆ By bank account transfer (apply at a financial institution, a Post Office, or the Water and Sewage Customer Center)
◆ Using payment slips (you can use these to pay at a designated financial institution, a Post Office, or a convenience store)
◆By PayB, PayPay etc. (app download)
