How to Pay Electric Bills（電気料金の支払い方法）
How to pay differs depending on the electricity company you have a contract with.
In the case of Chugoku Denryoku（中国電力の場合）
Bills are issued each month, after your meter has been read. You can pay in one of the following ways:
- By bank account transfer (apply at a financial institution that handles the payments, or at a Post Office)
- By payment slip (you can pay at a financial institution that handles the payments, at a Post Office, or at a convenience store)

Gas（ガス）
In Higashihiroshima City, propane gas and natural gas are supplied.
Depending on the type of gas supplied to your accommodation, the appliances you can use are different, so when purchasing appliances it is necessary to check.
When you move into your accommodation, you need to contact the gas supplier that supplies gas to the accommodation you have rented, and have a member of staff come to start the gas supply.
When the gas supply is started, the resident (or a proxy) must be present. Please check in advance with the manager of your accommodation about what you should do.
