Designated garbage bags continue to be available as usual

Due to the recent situation in the Middle East, there have been reports concerning rising crude oil prices and shortages of raw materials.

Please be assured that designated garbage bags for Higashihiroshima City are continuing to be supplied to retailers and remain available for purchase as usual. Residents are asked to continue purchasing the quantity they need and to use the designated bags when disposing of garbage.

Currently, the following four types of designated garbage bags are sold in stores:
* Household garbage bags (orange and purple)
* Business-use garbage bags (red and blue)

When disposing of garbage, please be sure to use the correct designated bag according to the waste sorting category. Garbage cannot be collected if the appropriate designated bag is not used. If you live in an apartment or condominium, please check with the building manager regarding which type of designated bag should be used.

Please also note that designated garbage bags cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase, so be careful not to buy the wrong type.
