Information on the One-off Support Payments to Counteract High Prices (for households not subject to resident tax, extra payments for children)
物価高対策臨時支援給付金のご案内（住民税非課税世帯、こども加算）

For households that have been affected by the recent price hikes, the head of a household that is exempt from resident tax for the 2024-25 financial will be paid a subsidy of 30,000 yen per household. In addition, an extra payment of 20,000 yen will be paid for each child under the age of 18 (born after April 2, 2006) who is supported by the household.

Conditions for payment（支給要件）

• The household must be registered as residents of Higashihiroshima City as of December 13, 2024, and all members of the household on the Resident Basic Register must be exempt from resident tax for the 2024-25 financial year.
• However, if all members of the household are supported by other dependent relatives who are subject to resident tax, the household is not eligible to receive the payment.

How to apply for the payment（給付金の申請手続き）

Households that have received the One-Off Benefit for Households Exempt from Tax from the 2022 financial year to the 2024 financial year
（令和4年度から令和6年度に非課税世帯等臨時給付金を受給されたことのある方）

Period of sending of notification:（通知発送時期）

From mid-January 2025 (the notification will be sent to the head of the household)

Timing of payment:（振込時期）

1. If there are no changes to the bank account shown on the notification for the transfer:
   The transfer is scheduled to be made on Thursday January 30, 2025
    
2. If there are changes to the bank account shown on the notification for the transfer:
   Once the transfer account has been confirmed, it may take approximately one month for the payment to be made (transferred to the account).
   
   If you wish to change your bank account, please contact the Higashihiroshima City Special One-Off Payments Processing Center. We will send you a document confirming the change of bank account. Once you receive it, please fill in the necessary information and return it to us.
    
3. If you are a household with children under the age of 18, and there are children who are not listed on the notice, please contact the Higashihiroshima City Special One-Off Payments Processing Center.

Households that moved to the city after January 2, 2024 and meet the payment requirements.
（令和6年1月2日以降に本市に転入された世帯のうち支給要件にあてはまる世帯）

From late January 2025 (the notification will be sent to the head of the household)

Documents needed when making the application:（申請に必要な書類）

1. Confirmation or application form (enclosed with the notification)
2. Identification document...
   (Residence Card, document showing health insurance qualification information, copy of driver's license, etc.)
3. Documents to confirm the account into which the payment will be made...
   (A copy of the bankbook (first page opened), cash card, internet banking screen, etc. (a document that shows the name of the financial institution, the branch name, the account number, and the account holder (the name in katakana))

If you wish to have a proxy apply for/receive the payment
Identification document for the proxy
A copy of the proxy’s residence card, document showing health insurance qualification information, driver's license, etc.

For those who have received the ‘Application Form’
・2024-25 Resident Tax Taxation/Exemption Certificate
For all individuals whose current address and ‘Address as of January 1, 2024’ are ‘Different’, a copy of the ‘2024-25 Resident Tax Taxation/Exemption Certificate’ issued by the city, ward, town, or village where the individuals were living as of January 1, 2024

・Please submit copies of the passport pages that show your entry and exit records if you entered Japan on or after January 1, 2024.

Timing of payment:（振込時期）

After confirmation of application documents. It may take about one month for the transfer to be made.
