The ‘Kodomo Daredemo Tsuen’ (Childcare for All Children) Scheme（こども誰でも通園制度）

Starting from Wednesday October 1st, 2025, applications will be accepted for the ‘Kodomo Daredemo Tsuen’ scheme. This scheme is for children aged 6 months and older but under 3 years who are not enrolled in approved childcare facilities or company-led childcare facilities. Even families who do not meet regular childcare requirements can use childcare facilities through this scheme.

Eligibility（対象者）

Children aged 6 months or older but under 3 years, not attending approved childcare facilities or companyled childcare facilities. (Approved childcare facilities include nursery schools, approved kodomo-en, family-based
daycare, small-scale daycare, and workplace daycare.)

Usage limits（利用時間）

Up to 10 hours per month per child. Up to 2 hours per session.

Fees（利用料金）

300 yen per child, per hour

*Aadditional costs such as lunch fees may be charged
*Fee reductions are available for households exempt from municipal tax, households receiving welfare assistance, etc.

How to apply（申込方法）

Apply directly at the facility you wish to use.

*Applications are accepted from October 1st.
*Each child may use only one facility per month.
