Global Class to Open at Takamigaoka Elementary School

To promote a multicultural and inclusive society, Higashihiroshima City is advancing education that helps children deepen their understanding of diverse cultures and values, and develop the skills needed to thrive in a global society. As part of this initiative, the City plans to open a Global Class at Takamigaoka Elementary School in April 2027.

This program is open to children residing in Higashihiroshima City who are scheduled to enter the first grade of elementary school in the 2027 academic year.

Higashihiroshima City will hold an information session and a trial lesson for children who will enter the first grade of elementary school in the 2027 school year and their parents/guardians.

To apply for enrollment in the Global Class, both the child and a parent/guardian must attend one of the information session and trial lesson events.

Date and Time

Session 1： Tuesday, October 13, 2026, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Session 2： Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The content of both sessions is the same. Please attend either Session 1 or Session 2.

 If it is difficult for you to attend either session, please contact the School Education Guidance Division.

Venue

Takamigaoka Elementary School

Parking is available on the school grounds. Please follow the instructions of the parking attendants.

Children residing in Higashihiroshima City who will enter the first grade of elementary school in the 2027 school year and their parents/guardians.

Crayons, indoor shoes

Parents/guardians are also requested to bring indoor shoes.

Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, as some activities may be messy.
