Items that cannot be collected by the city（市が収集できないごみ）

Some garbage cannot be collected or disposed of by the city, such as items that cannot be processed at the city’s garbage processing facilities or items that manufacturers, etc. are legally required to collect and recycle under various recycling laws. Representative examples are as follows.

The ‘Four Home Appliances’ (air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators/freezers, washing machines/clothes dryers)（家電4品目（エアコン、テレビ、冷蔵庫・冷凍庫、洗濯機・衣類乾燥機））

Under the Home Appliance Recycling Law (The Act on Recycling of Specified Kinds of Home Appliances), the home appliance retailer that sold the appliance or the retailer from whom you purchase a replacement appliance is required to collect and transport it. Personal computers, etc. (items covered by the Act on the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources)（パソコン等（資源有効利用促進法対象品））

Computers

• Desktop computers (main units)
• All-in-one desktop computers (CRT/LCD)
• Laptop computers
• Displays/monitors (CRT/LCD)

Standard accessories included with the computer at the time of purchase (mouse, keyboard, etc.)

These items are collected and recycled by computer manufacturers, etc. in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources.

How to dispose of the above items:

1. Pay the required fee according to the method specified by the manufacturer.
2. After payment, affix the Yu-Pack shipping label sent to you onto the item after packaging it.
3. Take it to the nearest post office counter (home pickup is also available).

Fees

Recycling fee + collection and transportation fee (a separate bank transfer fee is required.)

【Cases where a recycling fee is required】
・The PC Recycling Mark is not affixed.
・The PC Recycling Mark is affixed, but the manufacturer has gone out of business, etc.

【Cases where a recycling fee is not required】
・The PC Recycling Mark is affixed (except when the manufacturer has gone out of business, etc.)

Motorcycles (Mopeds, Light Motorcycles, Large Motorcycles)（オートバイ（原動機付自転車、軽二輪、小型二輪））

If you wish to dispose of a motorcycle, first consult the dealer where you purchased it. There is also a voluntary initiative called the Motorcycle Recycling System, under which a total of seven domestic manufacturers and importers collect and recycle motorcycles. If you wish to use this service, please confirm that your motorcycle is eligible before using it. (Parts only and bicycles are not eligible.)

Fire Extinguishers（消火器）

Fire extinguishers are collected and recycled by the Japan Fire Extinguisher Industry Association in cooperation with member manufacturers and fire extinguisher retailers. For the nearest fire extinguisher collection point and details of the fire extinguisher recycling program, please check with the Fire Extinguisher Recycling Promotion Center.

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) Boats（FRP（ガラス繊維強化プラスチック）船）

Small vessels made using FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) as a material, including motorboats, yachts, PWCs, fishing boats

How to dispose of these items:

1. Use the FRP Boat Recycling System, and dispose of the boat by one of the following methods:

・Take the FRP boat you wish to dispose of to a designated collection site yourself.
・Hand over the FRP boat to a transportation company designated by the FRP Boat Recycling Center.
