Eligibility(対象者)

Households exempt from resident tax

The payment will be made to the heads of households with a registered address in Higashihiroshima City as of December 1st, 2023, in which all members of the household are exempt from the per-capita portion of resident tax.

The head of a household consisting only of dependents of a person who is subject to resident tax is not eligible.

Payment dates, how to apply, etc.(給付時期・手続き方法など)

a: Those who received One-Off Special Payments or Emergency Support Payments to Counter Cost-of-Living Increases for the 2021,2022 or 2023 financial years by bank account transfer from Higashihiroshima City

Notices detailing the scheduled transfer account and scheduled transfer date will be sent to the heads of households eligible to receive the payment (these notices will be sent from Wendesday, December 13, 2023). Please let us know by Wendesday December 20 only if you wish to change the account shown.
※ Except if there is a change in the household after June 2nd, 2023.

【Payment date】

If there is no change to your bank account details, the payment will be transferred to your account on the scheduled transfer date (Wendesday December 27) shown on the notice you received.

Documents needed for the application will be sent to the heads of households who are expected to be eligible for payment. Please fill in the form with the necessary information, and submit it to Higashihiroshima City, along with any necessary documents.

・Document to confirm identity

・Document to confirm bank account information

・Certificate to confirm that you are exempt from the per-capita portion of resident tax. (Only for those who moved into Higashihiroshima City on or after January 2nd, 2023. Please enquire for details.)

【Payment date】

Payments will be processed in the order that the submitted documents are received. It should take a minimum of three weeks for the payment to be made, after the documents are received by the city.

【Deadline for applications】

Friday May 31st, 2024 (Applications postmarked on this date will be accepted.)

70,000 yen per household (this amount does not change even if there are many members of the household)
