The medical expenses payments scheme for infants and toddlers will change from October.

This scheme is a system that subsidizes a part of medical expenses when children living in the city receive insurance treatment at a medical institution.

From October 2024, the name of the scheme will be changed to ‘the Children’s Medical Expenses Payments Scheme, eligibility for the payments will be expanded to children equivalent to third-year high school students, and income restrictions will be abolished.
