更新日:2025年04月25日

From 2024, health check fees (the portion paid by the individual) will be free for those enrolled in the Higashihiroshima City National Health Insurance. (Excluding basic medical examinations for those under 39 years of age.)There is no need to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility for Free Health Checks.

Health checks are available, aimed at helping residents to live healthy lives, by discovering lifestyle-related diseases, cancer, etc., at an early stage, enabling early treatment. There are group health checks, held at various locations around the city, and individual health checks, which are conducted at medical facilities.
If you are eligible for a health check, you will be sent information about the health check, health check voucher(s), and an application postcard. These will be sent from the Medical Treatment and Health Division around June. If you have moved into the city, etc., and you do not have vouchers for the health check, or a guide to health checks, please contact the Medical Treatment and Health Division.

If you wish to take a group health check, you should apply using the application postcard you were sent. If you wish to apply online, please do so from the QR code on the health check voucher.

If you wish to take a health check at a medical facility, please contact directly (by phone or in person) the medical facility you wish to use, to make a reservation.
